Before anything hits the fan

It’s been an exhausting and challenging week. Between the excitement of introducing solids, to the prospect of Clover’s tooth finally cutting instead of being just under gums, to the sudden confusion of cloth nappies mixed with no sleep, a funny belly and feeling like people have let me down I’m teetering on the edge.

So today, despite needing to be home between 1-3 for a delivery at 12 I dressed Clover up in winter clothes and we went into the City. We met Tim, had lunch and hopped back onto the bus.

It was a nice break for sure albeit tiring it was definitely necessary. I love living so close to the City, being able to call on Tim and soaking in the sun as we eat jaffles is pretty sweet.
