“What ends in a W, has no beginning, and is always in the present?
Now.”
– Jarod Kintz
I love puzzles. There’s something very soothing about fitting all the little pieces together. It’s also quiet addictive.
We’re currently spending the week down at Pambula Beach in NSW with my bestie. We’ve hired a flat and hidden in the cupboard was a 1000 piece puzzle, we must be on holidays.
It’s been a very relaxing trip, grazing during the day with plenty of chatting and giggling in between. Last night we were in the company of close friends and their families. It’s so rare to get (most of) the gang together and although the time flew by it was wonderful to just be with each other.
As the little town starts to empty, I’m sitting on the porch, listening to the birds sing and the waves crash in the distance. There’s the soft pitter patter of the rain, the wind is fresh and I can’t think of a better way to start the new year.
