One of my favourite things to do outside is to look up. The
simple act of tilting my head and looking up at the vast open space makes me
want to smile.
When I look up, the sky is always different, one day it
could be an inviting bright blue, other days it could be covered with wisps of
clouds or even be dark and looming. Regardless of how the sky is, I still find
it relaxing, slowly breathing in and out simply appreciating it for what it is.
I like looking up and see the tree branches reach for each
other, the way the birds dance on the power lines or even how the buildings
stand tall, trying to hide the sun from my eyes.
The act of looking up allows me to have a mini break. It
gives me the chance to look above me and feel the wide-open space. It re-energises,
it’s fun totally free and I highly recommend it!
What do you see when you look up?
