A few smilies from yesterday…

• Sprouting ideas – One of the biggest challenges I have found about volunteering here is trying to get ideas implemented. There are great ideas that in other fields would be quite doable, but due to limited resources, ideas have to be tweaked, moulded and reshaped. Despite being super hard and at times down right stressful, those “aha” moments really make it feel like the fog has lifted, even if it’s just for a little while.
• Kaisei – We went to our now favourite Japanese restaurant in Bacolod, and man Japanese food is so good. Their menu is so big and diverse that we’ll have to keep coming back to try everything 🙂
• Rain – A constant theme these days, especially since it’s supposed to be getting to the middle of summer. But it’s so satisfying, sitting inside the restaurant, catching a jeep or closing the front door just moments before a rainfall.
