A few smilies from yesterday…

1. I felt under the weather (again) when I woke up, so I asked my supervisor if I could work from home in the morning. Little did I know that’s all I needed, I went full steam ahead with a project report I’ve been trying to start for ages. Finished it in a few hours and handed it to my supervisor. I went into work in the afternoon and had a good long chat about a launch I’m working on. And after months of waiting (not so patiently) I finally get to work on the something that I know I will be proud of, and the reason why I came here in the first place.
2. Reading, I’m getting really into this reading business. The good thing with having a geeky hubby is that I have access to all things digital, which makes it a lot easier and flexible.
3. The rain. It’s been nutso weather here lately, and last night there was a massive storm brewing, it didn’t last too long, but the sound of the rain is always so nice, especially when all you have to do is sit inside and do nothing.
