Now that I’m trying the whole “don’t think words” sleep technique, I’ve been visualising my dream house, it kind of plays like a movie (that’s just how my dreams/head works sometimes), in scenes and one shots. At the moment I’m dreaming up our bedroom, with a massive walk in wardrobe. Firstly I thought I’d do 1/3 hubby the rest was mine, but that didn’t flow well. So I’ve divided up the three walls according to usage, accessories (jewellery, bags etc), shoes and stuff we don’t wear that much. I’ve organised it by colour, have one tall bar and one short bar, range of shelving, drawers and a mirror. It kind of made me think of the Carrie’s shoe wardrobe in Sex in the City movie (the only part of the movie I like). Except ours will be a shared space and it’ll be awesome. And I guess in this case, I’m going to bed relaxed and actually falling asleep which means I can wake up and be ready for what the world has to offer. Waking up with a smile makes the day so much easier to start. I actually want to get on with my day instead of hide under the covers. It’s a great discovery.
