Bruno Mars – Just The Way You Are
I saw this video clip awhile ago via a friend on facebook and wanted to blog about it, then things happen and well I never got around to it. Then it was on Glee and so I had to get the album. I like his style and voice. But that’s not really what this post is about.
Okay, let me just start by saying, I like this video clip because I think it’s such a really nice set design, lighting, and use of tape. Their acting is a bit forced, but the words are too beautiful for it to get in the way.
The words, are simple and maybe slightly on the cheese side but with the music is fabulous. It’s how hubby makes me feel without singing (because well he can’t sing :p) It’s what I feel being with, near and around him. It’s a natural high, and if I could bottle it up and share it I would. It’s a such wonderful feeling and to be surrounded by that much love and support, how does it not shrink?! I wouldn’t know what I’d do without it, and I’m so glad I don’t have to 🙂 So when I listen to this song, I think of hubby, because he’s awesome and knows how to make me smile.
So when I’m down, stressed, strung out or on the brink of going crazy (which trust me, these days happen a lot), I listen to this song and I can’t help but smile. I feel all girly and giddy, like the day we got married 🙂
